B2B apps · Bold Custom Pricing

Bold Custom Pricing has left the App Store. Here's the native B2B route.

In short

When we checked on October 19 and 20, 2026, the Shopify App Store listing for Bold's Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B said the app is not currently available, so new stores can't install it. If you already run it, your customer-group prices need a new home. Native Shopify B2B covers group pricing, volume breaks and net terms on every plan from Basic up, and the move is a Counter Switchover.

What the App Store shows today

We read the listing on Oct 19 and Oct 20, 20261. It shows the app as not currently available and lists no plans. We don't know the exact date it was removed, or Bold's support plans for existing installs. Ask Bold directly before relying on either.

Why old pricing apps leave code behind

Pricing apps from before Shopify's B2B and Functions era often changed what customers saw by editing theme files: snippets that swap the displayed price, scripts that adjust the cart, sometimes extra product variants holding wholesale prices. Uninstalling the app doesn't always remove that code.

So the first job in a Bold switchover is an audit of the theme. We search for the app's snippets, list every template they touch and remove them only after native prices are live and checked. If you're also changing themes, as in any Move, the old code goes away with the old theme.

Moving off Bold without a pricing gap

Done as a Counter Switchover ($6,500, 10 business days), or +$5,500 inside a Tailored Move.

  1. Export Bold's price rules and the customer tags or groups they target.
  2. Search the theme for Bold snippets and price-display code, and list every file they touch.
  3. Build companies, locations and catalogs, then import them with Matrixify.
  4. Compare each buyer's native price against the Bold price on a sample of SKUs.
  5. Remove Bold's theme code, uninstall, and re-test retail and wholesale checkouts.

Should you wait?

  • There isn't a strong case to stay on an app you can no longer install. If it still works for you today, plan the move on your schedule rather than after something breaks.
  • If you need something native B2B lacks, such as quotes or more than 3 price lists without Plus, pick a listed app (see the hub) rather than staying put.

Tell us what you're running today. You'll have a written scope, a price that won't change and the date we'll be held to within one business day.
