Wix to Shopify: move the store, rebuild the site, keep the URLs working
Wix exports products to CSV but not digital products, not your page designs and not your blog, and Wix allows six product options where Shopify allows three. So a Wix move is a smaller data job and a bigger build job. That's why the price is set by the store we build, not by product count. Most Wix stores fit Off the Rack ($4,900) or Tailored ($8,900).
What Wix lets you take with you
Wix Stores exports physical products to CSV, up to 5,000 rows per file. Digital products can't be exported at all1. Contacts and orders have their own exports. What Wix doesn't export is the site itself: page layouts, the editor's sections, and blog posts. We pull blog posts through the site's feed and the Wix API, and we rebuild the pages in Horizon from your live site.
That's the honest reason Wix moves are priced by build scope. The data is small; the storefront is new.

Six options on Wix, three on Shopify
Wix lets a product have up to 6 options with 100 choices each and up to 1,000 variants2. Shopify allows 3 options and up to 2,048 variants3. More variants is fine. More than three options is not. For each product with four or more options we choose one of three routes with you: split it into sibling products, turn a non-stock option such as a monogram or gift wrap into a line item property, or merge two options into one (for example "Frame: Oak / Natural").

Wix URL patterns and their Shopify redirects
Wix product pages sit under /product-page/ and blog posts under /post/. Each one gets a 301 in Shopify's URL redirects4, built from your sitemap so nothing is missed.

Your domain, if Wix sold it to you
If the domain was bought through Wix, you have two choices. You can keep it registered at Wix and point its DNS records at Shopify, or you can transfer the registration to Shopify or another registrar. Pointing is faster and is what we do on launch day. A transfer can follow later without any downtime. If your email runs on the same domain (Google Workspace through Wix, for example), we copy the MX records across before touching anything else, because a missed MX record is the most common way a site move breaks email.

Small Wix surprises
Hash-bang URLs from old sites
Very old Wix sites used #! URLs. Fragments never reach the server, so they can't be redirected. Visitors following those links land on the home page, so we make sure it routes them to the main collections quickly.
Images with Wix transforms
Wix image URLs include crop and size parameters. We strip them to fetch the original upload.
Members-only pages
Content behind Wix Members has to be rebuilt as customer-account content or a gated page app.
